Green Arrow Pest Solutions owner Meir Ginsburg joined host Tate Morgan on the Catch & Convert podcast (Oct 16, 2024) to talk about how customer service, careful technician training and referrals built a Phoenix pest control company where the goal, in his words, is simple: “I’m their guy. That’s my goal.” Listen to the full 37-minute episode on Apple Podcasts.
Meir started Green Arrow Pest Solutions in Phoenix with one idea that still drives everything we do. In his words on the show: “I would say that customer service is everything.” And: “I am not a pest control company. I’m a customer service company that does pest control.”
Every visit is a chance to serve, not just spray. Meir described his clients this way: “these are my people. These are the people that trust me to provide them with service and protect their homes.” So if he spots something small while he’s at a home, he takes care of it: “if there’s something that takes five, 10 minutes, I’m helping out. I’m there for them.” The aim: “I’m their guy. That’s my goal.”
Meir wants every client to feel like they’re dealing with a friend, not a faceless company. Messages to clients are casual, not canned, “because I want them to save my number.” And at the door: “whenever I can, I knock on the door because friends knock on the door. Strangers ring doorbells.” He’s quick to give credit: “I wish I could take credit for that, but I learned that from Tommy Mello.”
He believes great service starts with the people who show up at your door. If a technician “is not happy at the company, they’re not going to do a good job. They’re not going to smile when they reach the customer’s door. And that’s just going to amount to bad service.” He skips the “we’re like family” slogan (“No, we’re not a family. We work together.”) and backs his team with actions instead. On hiring: “I want to hire for personality, doing the work that can be taught.” Then comes thorough training up front, so a technician is confident before working on their own.
Meir wants Green Arrow to be known in the community as “somebody that they can trust, somebody that’s there for them that can help.” He was candid that referrals “didn’t really kick in until the second year.” In the first year he got one or two a month; by summer 2024 it was six to 10 a month. Trust is earned through actions, one home at a time.
Yes. Meir stays connected with other Arizona operators, meets them for lunch and shares what works. “There’s more than enough business to go around,” he said. “I want to see more of small business owners helping each other out, rooting for one another, supporting each other.”

Yes. Meir Ginsburg was a guest on the Catch & Convert podcast with host Tate Morgan (Oct 16, 2024), talking about customer service, technician training and referrals.
In Meir’s words: “I am not a pest control company. I’m a customer service company that does pest control.” That means thoroughly trained technicians, an owner you can actually reach, and service good enough that clients refer their friends and neighbors.
